Alongside the photography, while in Japan and Russia I also spent time interviewing people from the communities we visited, as well as shooting extra footage, timelapses of the process and more.
This video collects and ties together the material from both Japan and Russia, demonstrating that despite the expanse of time between the two disasters, the impact on landscape, communities and economies lingers.
